This entry may have spoilers It's hard to write a neutral review when I'm a jojofan, however I'll try to make an honest review. STORY (8): It's the same as the any previous part: there's a hero, there's a villain and in order to defeat him, the hero has to make sacrifices and has to become stronger, yet this time the topics and the storytelling felt different and I would say more complex and raw. The topics in the story are so relatable to these days when organized crime is feared but sensationalized, and our new hero is part of all of this: the legacy ofgentleman Jonathan Joestar has come to an end... or is it? This story teaches us that when you're forgotten, in order to make good, you have to be just as bad as the bad guys. While this can be real life, it contradics all other Jojo's morale: fighting for the good being just as good and charming. And as far as I can tell, being the marginalized Jojo it has nothing to do with Dio, but with society. It's like Breaking Bad but in anime and targeted to young adult audiences.
The way it presented the story is kinda unexpected too, specially in the last episodes (I won't spoil). This is a pro, but a con is when Araki tries to explain the past. Oh my god, sometimes it doesn't make any sense until you think about it, and when you do, you end with more questions in your head. Also trying to tell a complicated and ambiguous past just make unintentionally more plot holes, and at one point of the anime the viewer just want ONE answer.

ART (10): At this point any Jojo viewer is used to the bizarre art style of the anime, but now is really umpredictable and I love this. I think the art in the anime is on point and loyal to the manga, but it has a personality of itself that is constant in every episode. David Productions learned from their mistakes in Diamond is Umbreakable and put their best in this part with very little errors. All the work is beautiful, eccentric, it just fill the manga up with life, specially with a dance in the first episodes. The changes in the color palette are still a thing and it still fits so well.

SOUND (9): I love the openings, the OST and even the sound effects (I liked hearing the punches of Golden Wind). The main character themes are so popular, no wonder why. But I have to admit that the endings weren't memorable for me, specially the first one.

CHARACTER (7)= It would take me forever go over every character in the anime, but I can say that everyone has a depth that we didn't see in Stardust Cruzaders and even in Diamond is Umbreakable. The Bucciarati team is so close to each other that even rejects the main protagonist because they accually don't need him. This distrust is the same as any other gang in Passione's, and for this reason, the fights between the gangs are so interesting and somehow heartbreaking. I'd dare to say that Bucciarati stoles the spotlight and puts Giorno in the shadow, almost like is Bucciarati's arc. This is inusual and personally I don't like it because we are here to see the new Jojo, not a new, random but interesting character like Bucciarati.
The STANDS.... oh god, the stands. Some are very good, some are just too powerful to function in the story, some others are incomprehensibles, but NONE are idiotic like in Diamond is Umbreakable (like the lock or the echo) or a few in Stardust Cruzaders (the sun) and they accualy have an specific purpose in the developement of the story. Honestly, I wasn't expected that from Araki.

Enjoyment (10): Although there are many time mistakes and inexplicable stands, I had such a good (or golden) experience watching this anime. I'll definitely come back to watch this again.

OVERALL (8): This anime has already done a good job bringing the manga to life. I have to take into account that David Productions hasn't started yet the next part which is Stone Ocean because the budget isn't enough and the pandemic is crushing everyone's dreams. However, the effort is remarkable and anyone can and will experience this. I hope that we still see Jojo in the future.
