Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

In the past, i watched a few animes as a way to pass time. I was more of a sucker for romance so i didn't have much range to be interested in. Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari was the one however to make me watch anime shows more and i became sold. I didnt have any thoughts on chracter development or story structures. Just art, music, and my own pleasures. Now my opinions changed. Intially i thought this was a good anime and made me sold. However, the 2nd half raised doubts. And that was when i was reconsidering on how good the anime was. Tateno Yuusha no Nariagari was good sweet heaven that turned sour on me. I don't know Naofumi's background. There is no character development with any of the cast. The design is good initally but there is a notably decreasing quality from the 2nd season onwards.

Overtime it was more difficult to watch every episode and found myself skipping areas im not interested or not being excited.

From what i know, isekai anime usually follows a strict concept of the personof being transported into a another they is usually better. This anime is an exception as it attempts to make Naofumi's life worse when thrown to a hellish and abusive system.

The idea seemed like it could work, but the creators never executed it correctly and now an anime exists where ppl must constantly shit on Naofumi to make his life worst without any reasoning, buildup or excitement. An anime where Naofumi is forced into the area where we have to support him while rescuing lolis who constantly fall for him.

I homestly have enough about writing this review and gonna say that if u are a loli sucker than u will have a good time. If not, stay away. Esepcially now that they have another season coming to us.
