Review of The World is Still Beautiful

What can I say? After 4 hours of binging this anime, it left me in a lot of tears just by finishing it. The story is so beautiful just as how beautiful the title of this anime is. I have never seen such a wonderful romance anime like The World is Still Beautiful. It is in it’s own niche. As much as it hurts for me to say, but I am both glad and sad that there is no sequel to this show. Glad because I think 12 eps was not too short nor not too long for the binging experience but sad because Ijust wanted to see more of Nike and Livi :’( A few OVAs would be alright just to show us some episodes of their life together but I suppose ep 12 is self-explanatory as to how their everyday lives would technically be.
There isn’t much to say for my case apart from the fact this really hit me deep.
Overall, I’d give it a 10/10. The ‘feels’ factor of the OSTs are too much for me (in a good and sentimental way).
If you’re into romance and also like fantasy and a hint of drama, I really recommend you (if you haven’t seen it yet) to watch this. It will be worth it.

The romance is perfect. Truly a GEM.
