if youre hesitating to watch this because youre not into historical stuff or because you think you might not enjoy this unless you know the people this was based on, you might wanna change your mind!!! the main characters are so loveable right off the bat and i thought they were all presented really well with how you could understand the actions of different characters/why a character did what they did. the way the story was narrated was also super interesting and the pacing of the story was pretty good - until the last ep, which seemed a bit rushed, as everyone's saying. i give this a 10/10regardless cuz this had a nice balance of political/historical, family, (BL) romance and comedy themes. an enjoyable watch overall, deserves a higher rating 💯
