When watching a romance genre anime you would expect to find a lot of feelings. But many romance anime fail to deliver this kind of experience. The reason for this could be due to the fast or slow development in the story. Tsuki ga Kirei is a show that requires its audience to be patient. The show has a slow start. You will need to wait until episode 3 or 4 in order to start enjoying the anime. The story takes place in a middle school where Akane, a 3rd year student and Kotarou who is also a 3rd year student get to know each otherfor the first time. Due to the shyness of Akane and Kotarou, the relationship development between the two is slow. Therefore, if you are not willing to wait until the completion of the relationship, I don't advice you to start watching this anime.

This slow development in the story simulates reality in a really good way! The kind of events that happen in the show and the way the relationship is developed give the audience a typical slice of life feeling. In addition, using quotes that were taken from a famous Japanese author, named Osamu Dazai in many episodes makes the anime more attracting.

The art in this show is not bad. I didn't like it at first but then I got used to it. Don't get me wrong, the art is not horrible, it's just not good enough,

The soundtracks and the music in this anime were really good! They fitted the anime environment and they were suitable for the show.

To summarize, the show gives its audience a nice experience and a taste of a slice of life genre. So, if you are a fan of romance and you are patient, then this anime is for you.
