Review of Days with My Stepsister

Gimai Seikatsu honestly surprised me. Honestly, this is one of my favourite romance anime of all time. It’s a slow burn, but not in a boring way, it’s calm, realistic, and actually meaningful. The way Yuuta and Ayase slowly get used to living together and gradually start understanding each other feels so natural. No forced drama, no fanservice, just subtle tension and quiet moments that hit hard. Ayase is top-tier waifu material - quiet, mature, and unexpectedly sweet. Yuuta’s respectful and grounded, which makes their dynamic feel refreshing and not cliche. Every little scene between them has weight. If you’re into wholesome romance with a slow but steady build-up, this one’s for you.Really hoping for a second season. 12 episodes just ain’t enough. 😭
