Review of Horimiya

The Joy, Excitement and Optimism that is felt after watching this show, is so rare, I forgotten it since watching "Bakuman" in 2018, and thought would never experience those again watching an anime, I am glad to be proven wrong, this Anime is a huge step in keeping the essence of the slice of life, romance genre alive. This show is what happens, when characters of an anime are actually mature and act accordingly, in the beginning every episode atleast one situation pops up, that would have made the characters of Scum's wish ( for example ) think about how they are scum and don't deserveanything, but the characters in this show act like real people would, they talk and get over situations and grow with them.

The Dry humor in the show, including a few kinky gags are funny enough to be realistic and fictional enough to place them as such, it's finely balanced to not take too much away from the plot.

It shows the real feelings, doubts and happiness that only a teenager can experience, and above all it true to those feelings. This Anime has Heart, which is very rare to find these days.

For whoever is reading this review, deciding to whether or not watch this show, let me say these few parting words " The slice of life genre or any genre for that matter has very rare shows that can truly warm your heart, and actually make you optimistic about something, this one is one of them".
