Review of Dan Da Dan
Dandadan is like a fast food meal except made with high quality ingredients. The premise, setting and character dynamics are pretty run-of-the-mill, but the animation, voice acting, art style, sound design and music make it significantly more enjoyable than it should be on paper. Momo and Okaruns voice actors sell their relationship with their performances, the dialogue sounds nearly improvisational at times. The fight scenes are shockingly good given that it's a romance anime, the action is fast-paced and animated beautifully, with crunchy sound effects and really nice post production. The only negative I have is personal, and that is hoping that it would gomore in depth with the supernatural and cryptid phenomena, however it appears that it will pick up on that front based on how the manga is going. It's not deep or profound, it's cute and fun, very nice to watch with friends or your S/O.
