Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

The first season of Vinland Saga was a strong contender for being my favorite first season in an anime, and after finding out that the first season is supposed to be a mere prologue for the entire story, I had very high expectations for the rest of the series. What I loved about the first season the most was both the plot and the idea behind its story; I was fascinated and I hoped season 2 would do something similar, and after watching all the 24 episodes, I can safely say that I'm blown away, straight up! The story in season 2 is an absolutely incrediblerollercoaster of emotions, a tearjerker that made me cry countless times, and the writing is some of the best I've seen in a while.
Same goes for the characters by the way; they're as engaging and interesting as ever, and the development for each character is the best possible outcome they could ever had.
Also, the music, the atmosphere and the cinematography are arguably the best I've seen in an anime, maybe ever.
I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this season, just like the first season; I think it's a perfect anime so far for me.

Vinland Saga Season 2 is without a doubt a masterpiece and one of my favorite arcs of any Anime, ever.
While the first season was already a wonderful journey and a perfect start for a bigger story, this season is a - beyond - perfect continuation and it elevated Vinland Saga as easily one of my favorite anime series of all time.
I can only wish for the next seasons to be as good as the first 2 seasons.

Everyone should experience this masterpiece in my opinion.
