Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity Will Save the World · review
Hard to review this one. I can see a large amount of potential in the series, and if it got a few more seasons, or was a 24 not 12 episode season 1 maybe it'd be fantastic. The characters are well written, their backgrounds, motivations and current psych profile are detailed. However it just feels a bit "blah" on the implementation at the moment. There's lots of allusions to world stuff that never goes anywhere, It feels like a "fallen current/future world turned to magic" but there's no details or reveal on that anywhere. Over-all it feels like a not-quite-there advertisementfor the manga, which I hear is a not-quite-finished advertisement for the Light Novel. This is always a failure, as each medium, while being a "hey also check out" should completely stand alone by itself also.
I enjoyed this series, I would like to see more. However I really can't bring myself to recommend it to others as it just feels incomplete.
