Entertainment District arc is my favorite story arc of Kimetsu no Yaiba manga. That's why before its anime adaptation's premiere, I naturally had huge expectations of it. Were they met? Absolutely yes! As for the moment of writing this review, it's my favorite Kimetsu no Yaiba anime installment released yet. This show is a brilliant adaptation of the source material, that has been enriched with extra content here or there, creatively enriching the source material without contradicting it in any way. While talking about anime original scenes, we mustn't forget about how some of them made already epic fights even more epic (by adding more actionscenes to them), or filling the gaps regarding the lore that were not there in the manga, but that would be surely thought about by many viewers tracking this series. The story itself is a fine mix of comedy, drama, action, horror. And very likeable leading characters, of course. Both new and old. Not to forget really well written characters from the opposite side of the barricade (again, both new and old).

As for the technical side of it, Ufotable is a studio known for delivering visually polished animated series and Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen is no different in this aspect. Actually, it kinda is, because its quality is on simply even higher level than everything from the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba anime we could see so far. Beautiful colors, outstanding animation quality, great soundtrack (opening and ending themes are simply bangers!), awesome direction with well planned out storyboards containing complex action sequences and fighting choreography. Kimetsu no Yaiba had been already a very good looking series even before Yuukaku-hen's started airing, but I won't lie if I say that Entertainment District arc's anime adaptation is the best looking and the most polished Demon Slayer animated installment released thus far.

I'm glad that my favorite arc has received such a fine treatment. It simply offers a marvelous experience both for anime only fans and fans who are familiar with the manga. I rather avoid using this word in general, but the reviewed anime is one of the few I can call as "kino".
