Review of SSSS.Dynazenon

Power Rangers with Extreme Budget 10/10 SSSS.Dynazenon is an indirect sequel to SSSS.Gridman tho there are some connections to the parent series that doesn't affect the plot. You don't need to watch Gridman before watching Dynazenon but its way more enjoyable when you do since there are eastereggs and references. The SSSS series doesn't let it's watchers down and it is, in my opinion, underrated. What stands out for me most is the realistic atmosphere and dialogues. There are awkward pauses between conversations, overlapping speeches when talking in a group, normal day to day intonations and so on. Plot ain't bad as well but not really outstandingor groundbreaking. Enemy origins are still myterious and there are still some ambiguous factors in the plot but not as confusing as gridman. Characters are well-written such as the MC which is more of a chad than the previous SSSS series MC. And the relations between protagonists are shown better than the relations in an average anime. In terms of friendship and romance Dynazenon also has the lead over Gridman.

Don't even mention the animation since its top tier all over. CG blends well, character movements are smooth, fighting animation is above average i guess, background art is amazing, shading is just right, also characters expression is well-drawn.

In conclusion I'd say this is a must watch. Brings back a sense of nostalgia from early 2010's mecha animes. Amazing quality all in all, even greatly surpasses it's parent series in my opinion. Undeservingly lacks hype.
