Review of Tokyo Revengers

Okay! I don't really write reviews often, but I see this anime getting a lot of 'hate' and I agree with most of it if I'm being honest. But, I really enjoyed watching it, so I'll just give it some praise. To me, anime should mainly be judged by how enjoyable it is. The way I watched and felt about Tokyo Revengers was really unique for me. The episodes feel like there're five minutes and truly fly by (I accidentally watched the majority of the season in one night, surprised to see the sun coming up when I looked out my window). I feel likeevery anime watcher should experience that. I laughed out loud, cried, and also got very angry with the anime and its character, but I just couldn't put it down no matter how hard I tried. The story is interesting and the characters are showed in a way that gets your heart fully invested in all of them, even side characters. So, yeah the pacing is a hunk of garbage and there’s so much secondhand embarrassment you can barely breathe, but it was fun. Watching anime should be fun, no? So, just give it a shot! I hope you enjoy it like I did :)
