(Not a proper review, just some thoughts copied and pasted from my Letterboxd) 1. Fuck Action-Kamen! Haigure Maou's only crime was being gay and fabulous. 2. The highlight was the three evil sisters who held hands just because it made them look cool as they fell to their deaths. 3. It's funny how the film makes a joke about the lack of individuality in Japanese people in the beginning and then goes on to villainize and ridicule the only people with any individuality. 4. This reminded me how hard the action scenes in these films went. For a slice-of-life, gag anime, the Crayon Shin-chan films have some of thecoolest animated fight sequences I have ever seen.
