Review of Devilman: Crybaby

As somebody who has never once ever heard of the series Devilman or anything related to it I was moved by this anime a lot. This anime is deep and unlike most others leave you with feelings or with things to think about it. "This was after all unfair...." "so in the end this happened" "this is relatable isn't it?" these are all thoughts you will keep thinking about even days after you've watched this anime. The reason why this anime is good is because it has a realistic/dark feeling to it. Every character reply makes sense and feels relatable to what a normal personwould say. Everything in this anime feels like a real life world being eaten by demons. There are no usual character archetypes, the tsundere the yandere the dense MC, every character feels like a person you could meet in real life.

The animation and music go PERFECT hand in hand.

The reason why this anime is low rated is because of the gore/sex/rape scenes that are by the way uncensored. There are a lot of scenes made from dirty imagination and a lot of adult scenes, but this only adds more to the realistic feeling of the anime. Rape is sadly a part of this world that happens more than it should. This anime focuses on the dark side of this world, a world whose people are slowly turning into fantasy creatures called demons. People think these sort of scenes were used too much, this is basically the only reason this anime is not rated above 8,50+ here.

The ending is one of the best I've ever seen in an anime. Until the very end the anime doesn't lose it's tempo, there are no fillers or scenes wasted, all of this tension compiling into the very end for the an ending YOU will remained marked with.
