Review of Fairy Gone
On a boring day, have you ever watched a show in NatGeo or Animal Planet like how a lion spends around its day catching prey and what-nots? Interesting - yes. Educational - yes. Entertaining - a bit. Fun - well, not really. But at the end, you get to take away something good - some world fact trivia. Fairy Gone is like one of those animes which you watch on a boring day. You know it's not going to be that great but you are hoping you can get a little entertainment. However, unlike those wildlife shows - you are leftwith nothing. Except I got that little impression that it's just like watching Pokemon for grown-ups. The story is bland and confusing. The characters are forgettable. And the marriage of CGI and hand-drawn images are just mediocre.
While watching it my mind just wandered off to a more pleasurable place - like inside my fridge and sometimes on top of mount Everest (damn you NatGeo).
Anyway, as case on point - your fridge has better contents than this anime.
