Review of Nisekoi: False Love
Something quite cliche can be something quite enjoyable to the viewer. Story-(Rate-6) Nisekoi's story isn't anything original. It's actually "Love Hina and Oreshura smashed together" when you think about it. It's execution? It's fair, but it really bogs the anime down when there are constant interruptions in ACTUAL character developing moments. Also, the ending is really lackluster.Art-(Rate-10)
This show was animated by Studio Shaft and it doesn't disappoint.
It's bright vivid colors really stand out, bringing out the true beauty of this anime.
However, the "bubbly shoujo background" is used WAY too often.
Sound-(Rate-7)
The soundtrack serves it purpose, but is surprisingly good.
It's peaceful to say the least. Also, the openings are really good.
The japanese dub is EXCELLENT and no english dub is needed in my opinion.
Characters-(Rate-10)
Stereotypical? Yes.
Unlikable? No.
Being the best part of this show, I fell in love with every character this series
had to offer. I felt like Raku had very strong bonds with each of the girls, which
is very important in a romance anime in my opinion. Now as for my "best girl",
I had a hard time picking. But in the end, I'm tied with Chitoge and Seishirou.
I love tsunderes, so Chitoge was right up my alley and Seishirou was so badass,
yet so cute, so I couldn't stop loving her. As for Marika and Kosaki, I found Marika
very annoying, yet surprisingly funny and Kosaki very charming.
Enjoyment-(Rate-10)
This series had me laughing really hard a lot
and I truly loved every single moment of this anime.
It's not the best romance anime to date, but it's one
of my favorites out of pure enjoyment.
