Story: 4/10, decent. A typical romcom who doesn't rely on an elaborate plot to entertain the viewer. Nothing wrong with it, nothing that warrants extra credit either. Art: 6/10. Fair, just shy of good. The art style is budget-friendly. But it works for the title character, and pretty much everything other than most of the secondary cast. The character design is good for the main character and ranges from meh to good for the others. The backgrounds are unequivocally nice.

Sound: 8/10, very good. Almost great.

I liked the voice of Nagatoro quite a lot. The acting skills of her voice actress are good too.
Her male romantic interest, on the other hand... I neither liked nor disliked his voice but I admit it worked for him. His voice actor isn't bad but not fantastic either.
The rest of the crew was better than him in that regard!
The music was definitely above average! Jolly, interesting themes that enhance the scenery and storytelling.

Character: 8/10, very good. The meat of my good and bad criticism.

Although the protagonist starts out as a somewhat standard (she's a bit of a bully) but likable tsundere, she quickly becomes outstanding thanks to her unexpected maturity. That is not to say her maturity is perfect (of course not, it doesn't need to be so in the first place) but it still is undeniably refreshing! At the same time, she manages to retain the main attractive traits of a tsundere.
Her crush caught my ire. He is unnecessarily immature. I wouldn't say unjustifiably so because teenagers can definitely behave like him. He has his good moments too, alas they are few and far between. And some struggle is needed, sure. But whereas Nagatoro creates story through her irrational behaviour, he mostly impedes development. It felt like the author or the editors deliberately milked him dry and it quickly grew old.
The supporting cast is likable (the recurring characters at least, not the one-time strangers) and their interaction with our two lovers showcases two things: the great chemistry of our romantic couple as well as the strength of their bond.

In conclusion: if it wasn't for Nagatoro's senpai, I would rate this a 10/10 but he drops the rating by 2 points, which I consider to be a lot.

Enjoyment: 8/10, very good.

The lack of plot isn't detrimental to the show. The art, even when lackluster (which constituted less than half ot the time), didn't offput me that much.
Falls short of great to me for some reason. I can't exactly pinpoint why, I want to leave room for superior ratings. For information purposes, to me, a 10/10 rating is only worthy of a masterpiece who manages to go above and beyond. A work that grabs me like a bull by the horns and shows me an enhanced experience. Being flawless isn't enough.

Overall: 7/10, good.
