Woukd agree, this anime is definitely not in the same league, it's a train wreck of "who green lit this‽". I watched the dub, because books are for reading and video is for watching (actual fact). If you haven't watched the dub, it's a must. Everyone sounds so corny and dorky. Each time a guy talks, it's oddly funny and annoying since it's very distracting. I'm not an animation snob. The laziness of animation studios pulls me out of the immersion, so 3dis fine for me. That said much of this anime looks very clunky, body movement is bad, fight scenes are nothing impressive. My lg c3 cant smooth out the animation to make it passable. Maybe svp jacked up to 250 fps could create the smoothness this needs.

Main character is your typical intellectually challenged meat head. Often reminding me of a very dumb dog, oh bad guys, woof woof woof.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe anime wants to make the entire thing cringe worthy, sort of like office space (us version), but rather than Michael being a hard pill to swallow, it's the voices, animation, dialog regardless of subs or not, and overall poor quality.

Now, I do have subs on, as the know-nothings tend to say, it's not the same dialog. it nearly always is, just conveyed with different words. The words used do not matter if they're conveyed to the same point, bad writers are is still bad writers.

I'd give it 1 star, but when it's this bad, distracting and consistently has your brain breaking from thinking "omg why did they choose to make every aspect so bad". It's good bar-lowering so the other "meh" animes seem/feel like their smarter than they are.

It's a low effort anime.
