This, at first, appears to be a rather ordinary manga. It isn't. It's a wild combination of "I want to be a mangaka" with, "I'm so poor I can barely survive because my parents abandoned me", and "suddenly taken to a fantasy world", and "girl mistakes well-meaning boy for a pervert but eventually finds out otherwise". What makes this interesting is how the mangaka put them all together to make a story that actually has a unique flavor. There is a nice blend of the expected with the unexpected as well as a mild cliffhangerat the end of every chapter. Not enough to drive you crazy waiting for the next one, but enough that you are looking forward to it.
The mangaka is walking a tightrope with "OMG how stupid can you get" on one side, and "drowning in cliches" on the other. So far it's working. I hope that the author continues in the same vein. Overall it's one of the more interesting of the new series this year.
