Mikudashi Ibari wa Mikudashitai! · review
7.1/10 This has to be one of the most conflicting mangas to read. On one hand, the comedy is actually quite nice and silly, but on the other hand, the fmc is one of the most dislikable fmcs I’ve read in a long, long while. There are some attempts to make the plot seem thicker than it actually is by author, but it all falls short and somewhat anticlimactic solely due the fmc’s antics. Minus the main character, all the other characters are simply idiotic, cliche, and stupidly done. They add some humor to the story, but that’s all they do. With their added humor, there’shard for any seriousness to form, considering that’s the route the author tries to implement later on with backstories, etc. The characters also don’t seem to progress much, much like the plot.
For a humorous, silly read, this check marks all of the categories. However, the author is attempting to expand on that, but the story falls a bit flat in the end.
