A completely meaningless series of disconnected fables starring a strange and nihilistic main character who chooses nigh inexplicable courses of action at every turn. It often discards narrative logic entirely and concludes stories on notes that have little to no clear relation with all the preceding events. The ending is strange and nonsensical. It's a perfect gestation point for the surreal works Kouichi Mashimo would come to produce in the following decade and one of the most entertaining and hilarious sci-fi adventure shows I've ever watched, easily recommended if you want an over the top, irreverent post-apocalyptic black comedy structured in a similar vein toKino's Journey.
