Every once in a while comes a show that that questions society and the rules in which we live by. Koi Kaze (Love Wind in English) comes from the manga of same name and it challenge society with the question of "What's wrong with incest". There plenty of anime that have brother and sister incest, but they usually never take the topic seriously. Most anime that talk about incest are comedies or have a sister or brother that's adopted into the family. Story: 8 Koi Kaze is nothing too complicated. It's a simple story of of brother and sister slowly developing feelings for each other and wantingintimate relationship. The story pace move along the main characters Koushiro and Nanoka growing relationship which is slow, but interest none the less. The slow pacing give feeling that Koushiro and Nanoka really took the time to get know each other and develop emotions for each other as they're put in awkward situations. What is interesting is that the story sets up a situation where it's likely that a brother and sister would want to get together. While the story does pose the question of "what is wrong with incest" and "why isn't love the biggest factor for intimate relationship", the story does not go too deep in against or defending incest. I would even say that the show give more the fantasy of having brother and sister incest rather than question the morality of it.

Art: 7
There were some weird decision on the character design which I believe to be on purpose. Koushiro is 27 years old man, but yet he looks and acts like he's somewhere in his mid to late 30's. Nanoka is a 15 years old girl, but she looks like a middle schooler or debatable an older elementary school student. A matter of fact, all of the girls in the high school looks that young. While usually this would be a bad thing, but I feel that the design makes mood of the story more uneasy and awkward. The appeal of the character design was not strong, but their personality really match with the design very well. The overall art and animation never stick out, but it was good enough to enjoy as a drama.

Sound:7
The sound and music goes well with the mood of the story. The voice actor capture the essence and awkwardness of the character very well. Nothing really worth commenting.

Character: 8
In a lot of ways Koushiro's character meets the criteria of a guy who could possibly fall victim to the idea of willing to commit incest. He's a depressed man who have a hard time falling in love with women. Nanoka is just a normal high school girl, but ends up becoming very emotionally attach to her brother for one reason or another. The situations that supporting characters are put into helps give the two main characters depth to the point it seem like the main character base off of real people.

Enjoyment: 8
The show for the most part was enjoyable from beginning to the end. While there were awkward moments in Kaze because of the topic, it wasn't too awkward to the point where I could watch it. The idea of rather incest is right or wrong was not force into the story, so the story did not come off preachy at all.

Overall: 8
Koi Kaze is solid in all categories. I think that if the show was not about incest and way story approach incest that it would of came across as very boring, but everything came together to support the story, and the main characters.
