Review of My Love Story!!

I finished this series years ago but I just felt the need to review it after rewatching it! Its a great romantic comedy that puts the "handsome protaganist" on its head, if just a bit. He's still handsome but in a way you don't see portrayed optimistically in a romantic sense in many anime. He's almost 7ft tall, bulky as all hell, and has the biggest heart of gold. His best friend is far more fitted to be the protaganist in the series if we went by most normal rom-com anime standards, but he's happily slotted in the secondary role bc he obviously doesn't carefor romance right now. lol

The female protagnist is incredibly sweet and shy. She falls instantly and is just so happy that she can be with someone so kind and strong. They're both so awkward due to their age and tenderhearted personalities that it makes everything so much sweeter!

I literally watched this at the worst time in my life when my grandmother was in the hospital and I had to stay by her side for her months while she was recovering. This anime got me through a good chunk of that process and I'll never be able to thank it enough!

Its a good anime to get you out of bad thoughts or an event in your life. Hell, its good at any time if your up for a great rom-com! Its silly, fun, and just...wholesome af.
