Review of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

I may be a little biased, but this has got to be the best SAO related piece I've seen. I loved the first arc of the first season, and this film had given me nostalgia: there are aspects of the SAO arc that I saw in the film. This movie had its humorous moments, but I loved how the serious situations stayed serious (without the weird camera angle change). The introduction of new characters deepened the story a little more, which made it even more enjoyable for me. Art and animations are really great, and sound effects are in sync in the fight sequences. Iespecially love how the film focuses on Asuna's and Kirito's relationship, it gave me a deeper understanding of Kirito's and Asuna's relationship. As for the music, holy COW! The music is great, and praises to LiSA for her great single, Catch the Moment. The score gave me the chills, as it brought the nostalgic feelings from when I first watched SAO. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, despite me making this review three days late (school happened).
