Review of Devilman: Crybaby

i seen everything for this franchise and it feels like parts of Devilman Tanjou-hen,Amon Devilman Mokushiroku,Devilman Lady and Maou Dante were half haphazardly thrown in with some new stuff this tries to be a bit artsy and edgy and ends up being the second worst thing in the franchise story 3/10 it was pretty bad this franchise can be pretty sexual and all versions have a good amount of gore but this show has a greater amount then the rest of the franchise but feels more poorly used when compared to the rest of the franchise but that is nothing compared to how rapidly and suddenlypretty much all the plot is done making it feel like things with little reason other then its edgy and artsy

art 7/10
the gore and nudity looks pretty good the characters at times can look a bit poorly done and the running looks pretty bad when compared to other anime it can be pretty colorful which does the anime good

sound 6/10
i watch subbed so i am not all that critical with sound but this does go have the dreaded engrish which and only slightly better then average and another weird things multiple times it will force rap in the show that just feel unneeded the beginning and ending songs are above average and i would of rated this part higher if it wasn't for the random rap an engrish

characters 2/10
the characters the only character that didn't feel purely sporadic was the childhood friend Miki all the other characters react insanely sporadically i seen hundreds of anime but even with seeing some of the worse anime made and seeing many anime that are a few minutes long and just have one episode i have never seen another anime have characters react as sporadic as the ones in this anime the one and only reason i did not give it a 1 is because i feel Miki was decently done

overall 3/10
overall i enjoyed this more then Maou Dante which i feel is the worse show in the franchise which kind of decided to mess with the story that ruined the feeling all the other shows and ova made this feels interesting because it feels it takes pieces from all the shows and ovas i mentioned but it is so sporadic with the speed of the story and characters actions that it is almost a bit fascinated how bad they are done but trying to take it all in hurts a good bit and the only real value is to fans of the franchise who might seen everything in it they might enjoy how in a way it is a compilation of all the series
