Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I've never write reviews but this one provoked enough to do it. Its a downward slope from the very first episode. Art: Really bad. It looks like it was made on mspaint by a kid. Its hard to believe that this came out in 2018. Stuff from 1995 looks better. Sound: Doesn't set the ambience. Edgy music keeps blaring but has a few tracks that are acceptable. Story: Awful. It tries many things.. and it ends up making us wish it didn't. It falls flat on its face pretty much every single time. Scenes that are supposed to make an impact get brushed offin seconds. Nonsensical decisions are made by the characters and deaths are mainly for shock value.

Characters: The way the story handles them makes it really hard to care. They aren't anything special but its what kept me going till the end.

If there's one thing I learnt from this series, its that bad execution can ruin the experience more than anything else.
TLDR: Don't pick this up. Your time is more well spent on literally ANYTHING else.
