Review of The Ancient Magus' Bride

In my opinion, Mahoutsukai no Yume's first half was much better than the second. It was as if after the OP changed, the show became less interesting to me. I did, however, still love the art and the story was beautifully told. It just wasn't exactly my cup of tea. If you're into more "art-y" (for a lack of better words) story that could be bit dry at times but makes up for it with a happy ending, I'd say watch this. I just couldn't really get past the fact that Chise is called a "puppy" by Elias at times and that he BOUGHT HER. Somepoints are a bit confusing and could easily be missed if you aren't really paying attention but overall, it is a well crafted story with beautiful animation which is why Mahoutsuaki no Yume gets a 8/10 from me.
