Review of ReLIFE

Relife is my favourite anime - While that is a bold statement to make, I always seem to go back to this anime, watching it over and over again. On paper this anime should not be my favourite. I cannot claim this anime has the best story ever told, or the best character arcs ever developed. If I took a non-bias perspective on what is the best anime of all time, I would not put this top of the list. However, for me personally, I would watch this anime over any other. Relife is a slice of life, comedy anime, that has some dark underlying themeskeeping you engaged but also keeps you smiling and laughing. The characters have good chemistry and all of them are capable of making you laugh in their own unique ways. Sometimes I will be sitting at work or at home and I would laugh accidentally because I remembered a line or a scene from this anime!

I also found this anime is easy to watch. Its not too long but not too short either (17 if you include OVA's). This for me is the optimum length of an anime. A long anime can be difficult to sustain when your busy and a short one may not get you engaged enough. This one is the ideal length where you can complete it fairly quickly, but not so quickly that you feel there is a lack of substance.

I will warn you though, do not be fooled though by the humour! This anime can take you on an emotional rollercoaster especially if you become invested in the characters and the story.

Overall, this anime entertains me, it makes me laugh and smile, regardless of the mood I am in. The opening song is great and reminds me of all the wholesome moments this anime posesses. I still find myself becoming emotionally invested in the anime, despite watching it so many times. It can brighten my day when I am feeling down or make it even better on a good day!

I highly recomend this anime, its enjoyable, emotional and engaging and I hope Relife brightens your day like it does for me.
