I don't usually watch card game anime. After seeing Yu Gi Oh as a kid, that made me abstain from them all together. Traumatized. However, in this anime, it does't make it out to be a lame card game with no character development. It makes you emotional, and makes you feel what the characters feel. That's what makes it different from all the anime you might have seen before that made you not like these kinds of anime. Not only that, it appeals to both girls and boys, as it has emotional scenes and fight scenes ( And vice versa for tomboys and emotional guys). I guarantee you'll like this anime.
