Review of Blood Blockade Battlefront

I haven’t read any reviews on this but honestly I don’t care if it has plot holes or anything of the sort. This show checked all of the boxes for me. It had animation that could give even the most prudent of viewers an eyegasm, a story that although not completely original was enticing and interesting, endearing characters that often rival the stupidity of konosuba’s cast of idiots, comedy that doesn’t feel forced at all, and openings and endings that demonstrate perfectly how a show can simultaneously take itself seriously and not take itself seriously. Oh and then there’s the upbeat jazzy soundtrack, which isjust fun to listen to and makes the already amazing moments even better. If nothing else, that’s what makes kekkai sensen so amazing. It’s just fun to watch. I could analyze it more and maybe point out some problems in the narrative or something, but that wouldn’t change the fact that I had more fun watching kekkai sensen than I’ve had watching any other show. Do yourself the favor of checking it out.
