Review of A Whisker Away

Criminally underrated | A perfect romance for begginers [Spoilerless] Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu (I will just call it Nakitai for the review) surpised me, I didn't expect such a good movie. The beginning is not incredible, it's just a classic romance/slice of life school life Then the setting of the surnatural element (at the first 1/4 of the movie) makes the movie interesting The surnatural element isn't perfect but it's really good and original, I found Nakitai quite unique. The plot is basic but the characters aren't : characters express itself step by step throughout the film and develops smoothly, even if they're a little clichéThe art and sound are the biggest highlight of the movie, for a slice of life movie, the art is almost perfect.

To conclude, even if the story isn't perfect, this movie is ideal to intruduce you into romance or anime in general
