Circular storytelling at its finest. It is a surreal experience seeing events dating all the way back to the first episode tying back into the finale. Early details and moments return to have ramifications at the end. In addition to an epic final showdown, newly forged alliances, final confrontations, emotional conversations, heartbreaking scenes, tragedy, triumph, returns, losses, this ending had it all. It is an emotional rollercoaster that makes one feel anxious, desperate, hopeless, and distraught but at the same time hopeful, excited, captivated, and satisfied. It is a finale that manages to tie up all loose ends while also shocking viewers with new developments.The dialogue is engaging, the action has you constantly on the edge of your seat, nostalgic callbacks are emotionally impactful, no time is wasted, no scene falls flat, every single second of this 1h30 finale is gripping and has a message to convey.

On a more technical level, the original soundtrack is heavenly, something one could expect to hear at an orchestra, the animation manages to elevate the story and not detract from it because the animators put a lot of hard work and care into every drawn detail. Directors, animators, music producers, editors, writers, everyone involved in this project from top to bottom was diligent.

Ultimately, this story and its conclusion are nothing short of a once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece.
