"Dynazenon is like an unexpected opportunity that blows through characters' lives unconsciously. But it has changed them forever." Dynazenon is the anime that I expected the most in Spring 2021. Thankfully, It wasn't disappointed me. Who would have thought that the sci-fi mecha genre and a slice-of-life genre could blend in smoothly? This series can do it. Although the pages of the series appear to be anime of a giant robot fighting against Kaiju, The literal form of this series lies behind the scenes. This series is a slice-of-life anime about people with huge scars inside their hearts thathave come together by chance.

The most impressive thing in Dynazenon is the direction. Amemiya Akira is such a brilliant director who can create an environment and atmosphere that feel like the real world. The characters are not energetic like other anime. It feels like they are a genuine person. They did not express feeling in a loud voice or cartoon-ish way. However, they convey it by using body language and their words. Every scene, every line of dialogue, has meaning behind them. Every composition, every camera angle make it more obvious to see. What is behind the character's minds? What were they thinking in those situations? The soundtrack also delivers a chill vibe. They know where to use or not use the soundtrack and let the atmosphere flow.

Every character has fascinating and has different regrets in the past. Also, the way they deal with their problems is interesting and resonates with me. As the story continues, even though every Kaiju battle in Dynazenon seems pointless. But it has changed and developed something in the characters' minds. "Dynazenon" is a metaphor for an unexpected event or opportunity in our life. That's the reason why I think SSSS. Dynazenon is well written and creative series.

The pacing of the series in the first half may slow and lacks appeal. However, the tension slowly builds up in every episode. Eventually, The second half of the series will show us why the series has to build up. The final act of Dynazenon is amazing, dramatic, and yet it makes me cry likes a kid. My feeling was overflowing while watching Dynazenon.

Although, the story about the characters is glorious. But the sci-fi and world setting seem shallow. It needs too much research for understanding references and catches up with all of the things that didn't explain and unclear. However, it's enjoyable to watch without knowing all of that information.

I have a bit of a problem with Kaijus's design. The power design is astonishing. But the appearance is too flashy for me. While Dynazenon's color falls into place, the kaiju's color is like a low price kid's toy.

The production in Dynazenon is a high-tier. Animation for both 2D and 3D is great. The soundtrack is memorable and builds up hype for action scenes, robot's combination scenes, even though the dramatic scene.

To conclude, SSSS. Dynazenon is one of my favorite slice-of-life anime of all time. Every element in this series, story, character, the conclusion can bring a lot of emotion. It's going to be engraved in my heart forever.

Story: 7/10
Direction: 9/10
Character: 9/10
