Review of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S

tl;dr not for me but I can see why other people might like it I finally got to watch the whole series because it was recommended to me so much and while some stuff was a bit annoying, I loved the first season so I was excited to start the second one. Sadly, the newly introduced character and the change in how the episodes are handled kind of ruins this for me, I already did not like the sexualization of Kanna and Shouta in s1 but it was so few scenes that I could just skip them and still enjoy the rest of the show. Withthe new character Ilulu that was introduced, that is sadly not the case any more as it ads a 3rd fanservice storyline.

I normally don’t have a problem with over sexualized characters if they fit the tone of the rest of the anime which, while the first season had fanservice, I feel like Ilulu was just introduced to make sex, boob and dick jokes and adds not much else to the dynamic.
While her backstory is interesting her character design is just a bit to different from the rest of the cast that it is distracting and the whole child with huge boobs design is played for laughs and sex jokes which is not my type of humor.

I can admit this is just not for me: the Art and sound design are still fantastic and there are episodes and stories that I enjoy especially if the story focused on my favorites: Elma, Kobayashi and Fafnir, but I would have probably been better of watching a YouTube compilation instead of the whole season.
