This manga made me laugh really hard. It parodied a ton of aspects of High Fantasy and took an interesting take on the Hero character. Essentially this story is about a knight captain who just wants to live in a house and chill all day. But then he takes in an elf (?) whom he adopts and they try to live a normal life as much as possible. Of course things don't always work out and hijinks happen. Thus we set up our slice of life comedy. Art was different from previous manga I have read since the artist used some watercolor for his coloredpages. Even without the coloured pages the art is above and beyond what comedy manga usually have. Needless to say, it is gorgeous.

Characters were funky and silly and I had a blast reading about them. Nothing groundbreaking but fun nonetheless.

Overall, I had a great time and I hope this continues to be translated and the author doesn't stop anytime soon.
