I haven't seen the movie first, or at all, so I had no expectations going into this story. I felt interested in what was happening the entire time, and despite it being short I felt like I was given a lot. Unlike in many of these sort of stories, his feelings for Rita didn't feel misplaced or forced, and the twists didn't feel obvious. Though there was an open ending, I wasn't unsatisfied or upset, I felt fulfilled and okay with it. I don't NEED a continuation, but if there was one I'd happily read it. I highly recommend this, it doesn't take muchtime whatsoever and is fantastic. It's now one of my favorites.
