As for my overall opinion on the Ranma remake itself, I enjoyed watching the two seasons. The series itself reminds me a bit of Gintama in terms of the humor and the characters, who are also diverse and quirky. The visuals and music are very good, to be honest (Mappa, as you can see, did a great job, even with its animators). So now I can't wait for the next season of the remake. I also plan to check out the original 1987 anime someday, which differs significantly from the Mappa adaptation in many ways. Ranma 1/2 (2024) anime rating is 8/10, a pretty enjoyable comedyanime from the 80s.
