I'm not one to review Manwhas/Manhuas very often if at all really, however this is one that I felt compelled to write a review about because it's genuinely a fantastic romance story that is brought down a fair bit due to it's second season. Warning: Fair bit of spoilers ahead. Warning²: I'd recommend this but there's a big "But....". So, let's start from the very start shall we? This story surrounds a Writer (who's a fair bit older than the MC) and our MC (who surprise surprise is an highschool student when we first see him, this is the catalyst for the "troubling" ending of the firstseason).
The two of them meet at an hospital and that sparks into something more as they meet often to work out.
Then as I wrote above the ending of the first season/arc comes to a troubling ending when our FMC discovers our MC is in fact an high school student, and that leads her to seek comfort on another dude who she meets during the first arc that so happens to be someone she knew from long ago (cause ofc there's always that one dude).

Queue the second arc/season 2 (the big "But....") that leads her to develop a psychological issue due to her relantionship with said dude she met long ago... And this is where my biggest issue comes from, this entire season is depressing to read and pretty infuriating at times. I won't go into many details but this entire season can be summed up to the following sentence:
"A bird is trapped in a cage due to it's looks while the owner is after another bird, however in a rainy day the bird manages to break free... but not without damaging itself."

Which leads us to the final arc/season, the arc that steered the ship back to the right direction and even gave spotlight to other characters and the ending was actually pretty wholesome.

I spoiled some bits, left others completely up in the air, hopefully this leads to more people giving this one a shot.

All in all, it's an 8.5/10, would be a 9.5 if it wasn't for the second arc (I don't know how people managed to read this while it was "airing", I was on the edge of breaking something while I read season 2 😅).
