Pen Pal at the End of the World · review
Woah, that was truly wholesome. The art by Kento Matsuura (I met him thanks to "Honomieru Shounen") is beautiful. The drawings are simple but effective when it comes to conveying emotions and feelings, and at the same time, bringing this kind of "after the disaster" atmosphere. It's a 54-page one-shot that feels fluid (and short) to read, with a "cute" development and a hopeful conclusion. With really few characters you can feel the message and the emotions they have inside them. The story was written by Sekka Iwata, the author of "Magilumiere", it was my first time reading a work of him. It will only take youa few minutes to read it, so I highly recommend you do so. It's enjoyable.
