This manga got axed at 37 chapters sadly. To put into perspective the manga adapted 4-ish volumes of the light novel, which is currently still ongoing with 8 volumes. And yeah, the last chapter gives no closure to anything at all. At one point I took the bait and decided to pick up the original source to see where the story goes from there but I'm disappointed to see that the novel devolved into a wishy washy harem for no real reason, so I guess it was doomed anyway. I have to admit that at first the story seemed cute, although extremely cliché as afan of these tropes it was initially a mildly entertaining read, but the last chapter really left a bad taste in my mouth, the taste of wasted time.

You're better off reading something with an actual ending.
