7.7/10 Though this manga just got released, it’s premise is a blast to the past for me, as it’s a 1:1 replica of “My Entire Class Was Summoned To Another World Except For Me,” which I loved with my sh*tty taste 5 years ago. Now, with a different approach to the exact same concept, it seems my taste has not changed one bit, as I quite enjoy this. I’ll hold back from comparing the stories, but the plot in this manga is much more balanced — there’s different perspectives of characters, and it takes its time in building up and explaining powers. Though the first chapterintroduction wasn’t subtle, the manga gets a lot better with its pacing while exploring a lot of potential plot points like family drama/stress, etc.

The characters are basically the highlight of the story (well, besides the premise), as all of them act realistically: The mc gets depicted in an immature light but he also has a shred of responsibility. His sister and father also add a more serious implication on the story that most supernatural/isekai stories wouldn’t have.

This is just a fun manga to read due to its interesting premise and a story that doesn’t have too many plot holes. It may not be the most original or the most well-written, but it’s well-paced and “different enough” to remain enjoyable.
