As someone who is non-binary I can understand what is going on and the struggles of the main character. While it's not the most realistic setting the characters and the reactions are very realistic. On the surface it may just look like a cute gender bend manga, but the truth is that it goes in to some really deep stuff that will make you want to cry and understand what people are going through.unlike a lot of queer manga they don't romanticize or fetishize it. Each of the characters are interesting and they are all flawed. It gets hard to read at times because ofhow real it can feel. The only other manga that talks about the queer community like this is "Our Dreams at Dusk" and they touch on it a bit with "Boys Run the Riot" (also some great manga).
