Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru · review
How did this get an anime? It's awful. MC is reincarnated into the villain of a game. Okay, a heavily used setup, but simple enough. Except... none of this really has any relevance to the story. Her being reincarnated could be entirely left out and the plot remain unchanged. Her "knowledge" of the game is never relevant or useful. Besides the extremely overdone notion of "baking sweets", she has no beneficial skills from her first life either. This in itself is just a character that can't do much; the problem is that the MC is not only boring, but also apparently delusional. She spends most of her time worryingabout events of the game taking place, but she pretty much does nothing to prevent them or even see if she can.
She is favoured by so many people and spends most of her time worrying about how things can go wrong, based on zero indication that they will.
As a story uniquely, it's fine, if generic and rather poorly paced. The big problem is that it lacks any and all actually engaging characters, instead trying to just set up cheap "cute drama" moments without any real character development or growth. It's extremely hard to care what any of these characters do or want, and it seems like the author doesn't really know either.
Art's decent, but hardly special 6/10.
Characters are just plain nothing and never grow into more 3/10.
MC is largely pessimistic to a ridiculous extent, so she gets a 1/10.
Pacing is all over the place initially, then slows down to a crawl for the bulk of the story 4/10.
All in all this is not worth the time spent reading it.
