Magus of the Library · review
I found this story while browsing through the manga leaderboards in MAL. It was around #400-500, and at first, I thought it was an isekai story with an unusually high rating. I was pretty fond of isekai stories, but most of them were plainly enjoyably bad. So I took some time out of my day to read this interesting story, and what came next blew my mind. The artwork is honestly insane, you are put in this world where weird creatures and magic exists. Books are above all things and are basically in very high demand. The story follows a boy with mixed genetics, which iswhy he was considered strange, who fell in love with books and is aiming to become a kafna, which are considered to be the guardian of books. This manga holds much interesting information (fun facts) about books, and how to take care of them while also not holding back on the fun exciting part of an adventure. Every chapter and every character the boy meets is always a delight, and heartwarming.
This book is honestly underrated, and a few chapters are already in English (officially), so you can expect no drop in artwork quality while reading.
