I originally watched this anime 10 years ago in High School, and wanted to rewatch the anime's I enjoyed so much back then. Its nice to know that my taste isn't all that bad. Story; A young girl named Fuu works in a teahouse, and has her life flipped upside when two men certain men enter her establishment. Mugen, a name who goes at his own flow and will do anything to get a meal... even if it means shedding unnecessary blood. Then Jin, the reserved samurai who just wanted a meal while on the run. Burning down the business she works at, Fuu gets thecourage to drag these men on the road for her one goal in life: Find the Samurai who smells of Sunflowers.
With a bunch of bumps and turns on the road, these three go through the ups and downs of life together. Working for the food of their plates, escaping trouble and human pleasures that slip away in an instance.
You get to enjoy three people become close on the open road. With no purpose but to get a girl where she needs to go. You might even shed a tear or two when you meet the everyday people on the road.

You'd enjoy this anime if slow burners are your thing. Not in the romance sense, but in the way where you get to experience the every day slowly. You get the join the journey with the trio, and understand that just because you have a goal doesn't mean you'll get there faster then anyone else.

If you enjoyed this anime, then I would recommend Katanagatari. You instead follow a pair, both holding secrets and learning to trust each other on the way (with a little romance).

I will admit. Episodes 22 and 23 were a little weird though haha.
