I really love this manga. I think the story is very interesting and the characters are very realistic and have depth. The main character, Yuri, is very sweet and lovable. I can really relate to her problems like feeling self conscious, etc. I think most women can! There is a good balance between tragedy and comedy and it's also got some mystery. The art is very pretty but at times it seems a little bit rushed (understandable though because it's so detailed!). But otherwise, it's absolutely perfect! In my opinion, anyway. ^_~ If you enjoy romance, comedy, drama, Shoujou, or Josei, this manga will probablyappeal to you. Also, if you like the manga, there is a live-action Taiwanese TV series based on it called The Rose. You can see clips of it on Youtube.
