Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Everything about this anime is just fantastic. The story is simple, yet, intriguing, as it is a story that starts at the end of the "hero's journey." The pace of this anime is slow but I couldn't be more happy with it. It was is such a breath of fresh air when I watch it for the first time. You don't need constant movement and action in a story for something to be good. Just great character writing and fun interactions. Of course there IS some action (which is also beautifully choreographed btw), but its more sprinkled in and not the main focus of theanime.
Another highlight of this anime is the sound track. Evan Call really blew it out of the water with this one. It is very well composed and just straight bangers if you enjoy. I can really tell that there was so much emotion and hard work put into just the music alone. I find myself going back to listen to the soundtrack start to finish all the time.
One of the better pieces of media I've experienced in general. I highly recommend a watch.
