Say what you will about this take, but this one special has more stylistic animation and better comedy than the entirety of the first season of the parent anime. That doesn't mean that this is good, just goes to show how bad the first season was. As for the show itself, it's not the best special ever made. The animation (as I mentioned above) is very simple, but it gets the job done. The voice acting and audio sounds a little unpolished, and the comedy wasn't laugh out loud worthy but still okay. What I'm trying to say here is that it was enough to make mesmile and that's enough for something like this. It doesn't need to be a masterpiece and it definitely doesn't need polishing or improvement. Let's be honest; the only people watching this are people who want to 100% K-ON!, so no matter what I type here, they will watch it anyway. All I'm going to say is that if you do plan on watching this, watch it AFTER finishing season 2.
