Review of Monster

Monster is an absolute masterpiece when it comes to storytelling. This story by Naoki Urusawa is a genius stroke to prove that the depth he has in all his stories. I was first introduced to him through a series called Pluto which then made me discover Monster. Monster tackles theme of what humans really are, and a monster is never a fictional character but in fact something hidden within us. One should never let it out and unleashing it truly transforms humans into Monsters. The values, beliefs and morals are truly what makes us humans. This anime shows the consequences of past sins which leadto creating a monster that the world never wants.

The show profoundly tells us we as humans can be better and do better. A psychological thriller that hooked me till the end. Truly epic and brilliant. A must watch for those who love great storytelling.
